This month brings a major update to the POS, with new promotion types, safer table handling, clearer receipts, and better kitchen tickets. The marketing site has also been refreshed with new feature pages and pricing information.
POS: promotions and bundles at the till
The till now supports several promotion types that were previously missing: fixed-price category bundles (for example, any dessert plus any drink for one price), buy-one-get-one offers, free-item promotions, and unit-limited discounts. Promotion time windows now apply at the exact times set in the dashboard. The promotions window also tells staff why a promotion cannot be applied (wrong time or day, order type, or missing items) instead of failing silently.
POS: safer table management
Moving items between tables no longer loses lines or brings them back on the original table. Voided and returned items cannot be moved at all, and partly voided items move with only their remaining quantity. Bills and payments now always match the items on the order, even after combining, splitting, or moving items. A dine-in order that has not been paid can be converted to takeaway directly from the till: the order is re-priced without the dine-in service charge, the table is freed, and the kitchen gets a ticket to pack it.
POS: clearer receipts and printing
Receipts now show the order type, each applied promotion by name, all discounts, and the amount tendered with change for cash payments. Delivery receipts print the customer phone number and a QR code that opens the drop-off point in a maps app. Thermal printing is cleaner, with no stray characters, no white streaks, sharper text, and less wasted paper. The manager PIN is now asked only once for discounts and voids, and the keyboard no longer opens automatically when tapping a category.
POS: kitchen tickets and void slips
Every void now prints a VOID ticket in the kitchen, and you can optionally print a void receipt for the customer. Kitchen tickets follow the kitchen template with larger, easier-to-read items and the full order number. An order sent to one printer comes out as a single ticket.
POS: delivery and drivers
Staff can assign a driver to a delivery order straight from the till. Delivery receipts now print when a driver is assigned instead of at payment, so the receipt leaves the counter with the order. Delivery orders that are already paid now complete as soon as they are marked delivered. Orders now carry a promised ready time: the kitchen screen counts down to it, and a new Upcoming list shows scheduled orders before they reach the kitchen. Busy and Pause new orders both run for a set period and clear themselves automatically.
POS: loyalty, customers, and attendance
Loyalty screens now show the balance the customer actually has, and tiers use the names set up for the programme. Redeeming loyalty at the till works again. Customer search finds people by name or part of a phone number. The redesigned Time Clock attendance interface includes a clean punch button and support for ZK biometric devices. Scheduled orders now display their target delivery time and do not block closing.
