Grubtech and aggregator orders on the till
Last updated October 26, 20262 min read
Accept or reject Talabat, Careem and other aggregator orders that reach your till through Grubtech, before the timer runs out.
Steps
- A new aggregator order appears as a card in the side panel. It shows the aggregator, its order number, and who delivers (OUR RIDER, AGGREGATOR RIDER, PICK UP or DINE IN).
- Watch the countdown on the card. It turns highlighted in the last 20 seconds.
- Tap ACCEPT to take the order. The kitchen ticket prints on the Main POS as soon as the order is confirmed.
- To refuse it, tap REJECT, pick a reason (Out of items, Item not available on our menu, or Other), add a note if needed, and tap REJECT ORDER.
- After accepting, move the order on with START PREPARING, MARK READY, then OUT FOR DELIVERY or COMPLETE.
Good to know
- Accept and reject need an internet connection. Offline, the card shows NEEDS CONNECTION.
- If the timer runs out, your Grubtech setting decides what happens. Orders set to accept automatically show no timer.
- If another till already handled the order, your till simply refreshes.
- Aggregator orders cannot be voided or refunded on the till.
- Orders that arrive while no shift is open wait in a separate online list. You can still accept them, and they never enter a drawer or Z report.
- Rejecting needs a permission. Grubtech itself is connected in the dashboard under Sales channels.
