A complete walkthrough from blank account to published menu.
What you will accomplish
- Create a branch with opening hours
- Build a category structure (Appetizers, Mains, Desserts)
- Add items with prices, descriptions, and photos
- Configure modifier groups (sizes, toppings)
- Publish the menu to a QR code
Step 1: Create your branch
Go to Settings > Branches and click Add branch. Fill in the name, address, phone number, and opening hours. This is the location customers will see.
Step 2: Build your category tree
Go to Menu > Categories. Create top-level categories first (e.g., Starters, Main Course, Desserts). You can add sub-categories later if needed.
Pro tip: keep the category count under 12 for mobile browsing.
Step 3: Add items
Go to Menu > Items. For each item you need:
- Name and description (both Arabic and English)
- Base price
- One or more photos (square, 800x800px minimum)
- Category assignment
Step 4: Add variant and modifier groups
Go to Menu > Variant Groups to create size options (Small / Medium / Large). Go to Menu > Modifier Groups to create toppings or extras. Link these to items in the item editor.
Step 5: Create a menu
Go to Menu > Menu Structure. Add your categories and items in the order you want them displayed. You can override prices or hide items per menu.
Step 6: Publish to a QR code
Go to Menu > Menu Links. Create a new link, choose the menu and branch, and generate the QR code. Print it and place it on tables.
