Overview

Your user profile shows the personal account you signed in with: name, email, role, the tenants you belong to, and your personal display preferences (language, theme). It's distinct from the business profile in Settings, which is about your restaurant.

Opening your profile

  • Click your avatar in the top-right of the dashboard header.
  • Choose My Profile from the dropdown.

What you can see and change here

  • Display name: how your name appears in audit logs, comments, and "assigned to" fields.
  • Email: the email you sign in with. Read-only if you signed up with Google (change it in your Google account).
  • Avatar / profile picture: upload an image or use your initial.
  • Phone number: optional, used for some notifications.
  • Language: your personal dashboard language (English / Arabic). This setting follows you, not the device.
  • Theme: light or dark mode.
  • Time format: 12-hour or 24-hour.

What you can't change here

  • Password: Tappya doesn't store your password directly. Change it from the Sign In page using Forgot your password?, or in your Google account if you signed up with Google.
  • Your role / permissions: these are assigned by an admin under Settings → User Management.
  • The business name / address / currency: those live in Settings → Business Profile and are shared across everyone in the account.

Switching between accounts

If your email is invited to more than one Tappya tenant, the profile menu lets you switch between them without signing out. Pick the tenant from the dropdown and the dashboard reloads in that account's context.

Signing out

Avatar menu → Sign Out. This signs you out of this browser only.

Key Concepts

  • User: The identity you sign in with. Owned by you.
  • Tenant: A Tappya account (a business). You can belong to multiple, with potentially different roles in each.
  • Role: Defines what you're allowed to do inside a given tenant. Assigned by an admin.
