Decide how each branch delivers, how riders get assigned, what happens when they arrive, and whether you accept cash.
Steps
- Go to Settings and open Delivery settings.
- Under Mode & supply, check each branch's delivery mode. To change one, click Change mode (it opens the branch page).
- Under Dispatch, keep Auto-dispatch on and choose a Strategy: Best performance (default), Nearest rider, or Round robin.
- Set Dispatch at (Ready time minus travel is the default), the max deliveries per rider, and how many re-offers happen before the order is escalated to a dispatcher.
- Under Arrival & pickup, choose whether riders need a pickup code, whether they see an item checklist, and the arrival geofence in meters.
- Under Cash, choose whether to accept cash on delivery and whether to ask customers what they need change for.
- To set a branch differently, pick it in Override for a branch, change the allowed settings, and click Save.
Good to know
- Modes: No delivery, Own fleet (manual), Own fleet (rider app), Third-party courier, or Aggregator.
- Auto-dispatch only runs for branches in Own fleet (rider app) mode. Other branches need a dispatcher to assign riders on the Deliveries screen.
- Best performance scores riders on arrival time, rating, on-time history, vehicle and area familiarity.
- Only the pickup code and the two cash settings can differ per branch. "Reset to default" removes an override.
- You need the delivery add-on and the delivery settings permission.
